Got to see them in real life once when her bathing suit top slid off - not enough there to hold it on I suppose. Bee stings would be exagerating.........

I had a bad go with thryroid cancer several years ago. It left me unable to work for about a year and only able to do half the things I could before I got sick. Sitting around the house looking out the windows almost drove me crazy. Easy to become pissy with everyone and I was often rather depressed. I`m not that ambitious sometimes but never really knew how much work was a part of feeling good about myself and the things around me until I couldn`t do anything.

Do what you can for yourself. Any positive improvement will make you feel better because you want it to.

Bigger boobies will trigger the mind; after a couple of beers you even forgive their gut.

We never seem to appreciate good health when we have it. We certainly are more than simply aware when it is not present.

I too enjoy vegatables. That said if I sat down to a full plate of only brussel sprouts and consumed them. I too might fall off an exercise bike.

I hope this is the start of an upward general improvement for you. The unknown in almost any situation is a curse. My wife in comparison has it made as she has a fatalist viewpoint.

I just finished recovering from the last operation. Now I can pretty well do what I could before the operation.

It resulted in a months partial downtime. Plus waiting for the current pathology results. Thankfully they were favorable once again to what they might have been.

No follow up chemo or radiation treatment required. The surgeon could not give an opinion on why the re occurance after twelve years though. Unusual but not unknown was his best shot and that is why I went for yearly checkups that are going to be every three months for the next two years .

As always I put it into perspective that there are far too many people in worse medical situations so it is not really bad at all.

Keep your spirits up.It can be hard to do sometimes I realise. It is hard even having known temporary limitations mind having uncertainty over how long they might last. My best wishes go with you. .

JP is in the hospital

Folks.

I got a private message from JP today. He was walking across the dining room yesterday, got dizzy, and passed out. Came to when the medics were there. He's in the hospital for observation --- he didn't say so, but I imagine they are running some test on him.

I'll pass along any update I get from him.

He's on-forum, on-line right now, so he must be home, or has Internet access from hospital.

Wishing you get better, jplinville!

Or, the computer at his home logged-in on PP...

My cell phone has Internet, but is a real challenge to try to navigate individual websites.
Almost not worth it trying to surf the Net from. Email/texting - my cell phone is great....

JP --- update

Folks.

The doctors confirmed that JP had a heart attack. He is in surgery having two stents inserted. Please keep him and his family in your prayers and thoughts.
