$500/hour is high-dollar? Say Larry, have you seen the new 1980 Chevy Citations?

Who do you think is defending DOMA on the republicans behalf? A PD (nothing against PD's)?

I'm sure that folks of Larry's ilk would prefer that the IRS has no legal representation, and pay large damages to every sham organization in question. Of course, they may have forgotten who will cough up the cash to cover those payments...

Hate to tell you, but $500/hr isn't really a high priced lawyer....

edit - dammit!! beaten to the punch again....
my $500/hr lawyer is better than your $500/hr lawyer....

Okay smart guys, at least one law suit has benn filed against Lerner and Miller individually. Since when have government employees had contracts?

If this were happening on someone else besides Obama's watch, I'm sure your attitudes would be different if the violation of rights were being invoked on liberals.

Link? Everything I have read (including the Fox news report) indicates that they were specifically named in the lawsuit--not that they are individually being sued.

Well, your link is this mornings news. The spokesman for a Tarrant County Texas conservative group was being interviewed this morning on NATIONAL news, and she specifically stated that they not only filed suit against the IRS, but also filed personal suits toward Lerner and Miller.

Try to keep up, okay?

Prepare yourself, Larry. There are going to be a lot more taxpayer funded lawyers rolling into D.C. over the coming years.

I just hope Obama is able to stay above the fray. The though of Biden running the country scares the hell out of me more than the current mess.

I guess asking for a link was too much. The Fox News story I read was dated today.

Okay TBO, given that I'm a nice guy and have taken pity on your inability to operate a search engine I am posting the link for you:

On The Record w Greta VanSusteren | Fox News

Hence forth, try to keep up enough to do your own googling, it only took about 30 seconds.
