And no, I can't watch videos because I have real work to do. My Google skills will never hold a candle to yours.

I'm glad that you realize my superior skills.

Sometimes I have real work to do, and when the time comes, it's a pressure cooker. I'm here because of what I know and what I can do at crunch time. Most of the time, there's not much to do.

BTW, nice dodge of the facts. You won't see the personal law suit information unless you watch the video. Of course, I wouldn't want to see you have a coronary by having to face facts.

Try to keep up, okay?
I can't speak to the legal education of the spokesperson, however if she revisits first year law school's Civil Procedure class, she may recall that being sued in one's "individual capacity" for an alleged breach in the course of one's capacity as a member of an organization does not necessarily invoke one's personal liability. So, merely pleading it in a complaint, doesn't make it so.

Its an internal inconsistency from the same news source. Which version to believe? I can't watch videos at work, sorry.

The last Lawyer I used cost $2,000 an hour.

So the question is: Why do the best Lawyers get $2,000 an hour?

And the answer is: Because they are worth it. When you are dealing with $80,000,000 on a deal you want to make sure everything is done right, and that means dealing with Lawyers who have done such deals before. They are far and few between, but the good ones get the top money, and if they can keep you from getting taken on a deal of that size then the money they charge is peanuts.

It sounds more and more like the IRS is hiring someone for outside advice and not as a Lawyer that is going to deal with the entire case.

I am trying to remember back to my School board days about coverage. I believe board members acting appropriately in their capacity as a board member is covered. This would not include actions not appropriate to their capacity as a board member.

So if as a board member I did something clearly illegal I would have been on my own.

I may not have it right in detail but I believe I was covered as long as I believed I was acting appropriately in my capacity as a board member.

So if the IRS person believed reasonably that they were acting appropriately in their job capacity they would be protected by the agency.
