Way less flakes and scammers, lots more good, honest folks who are taking the path less traveled...

The Quebec and Vermont gatherings have always been my favorites.
Was part of a pancake kitchen in VT for a number of years.
The Quebec folks actually grew crops on the land before their fall gathering... lots of awesome food.
True enough and I've been to a number of regional gatherings in Ea WA, but the national is an interesting animal. I had some great experiences at the 3 I went to: '81 WA, '82 ID, '92 CO.

Bumper stickers !!!!!
Just so happens a very successful hippie couple I know operates a bumper sticker business.... so there ya go.

Besides, that is a lyric first, and possibly a bumper sticker later.
If you were a hippie, you likely would have recognized the Funkadelic reference.

Birkenstocks? No, too expensive. VW Bus, well, maybe. I lived in one, a 1970 with Paisley windows and all. It's all about friends, veggie burritos, food shelves, and trying to stay safe.

If you decide to go the route remember one thing, you may party with people, but they are not your friends.

I tried to be a hippie and dated a few like this one...
I attempted to grow dreadlocks and didn't wash my hair for two months ... didn't work. I was a diving guide so it did get a salt water rinse three times daily. I once ate dinner with a vegetarian and I raved about the avocado in my BLT; hell who wouldn't when this was in front of you?

WINO radio!
"Bing-bong, 5 minutes past the big hour of five o'clock, Today's weather forecast, Dark, followed by light, followed by dark".

Now why can I remember that but I I have no clue where my car keys are?
