My new 535i has the M package too, and it's hugely tossable, for qa carthat big.,,but so is the M5 itself!

I've run up 5,500 miles of fun (non business/commuting) miles on it since the end of May, and for people that like to drive, the BMW is THE car. I didn.t find it out till I just got the car, my first one, and I AM REAL OLD (65). But I tell you, it's the best car you can buy for driving pleasure and joy that there is.

Do you know if it has the N54 or N55 engine (twin turbo or single?). I specifically looked for the N55 single-turbo with the DCT, avoids a lot of the N54's HPFP and injector issues. In the 1 its an absolute blast.


The 328xi I have as a loaner is a fantastically comfortable car and completely planted in the corners. The auto-stop-start is really annoying though, I had to disable that.

Its kind of squat, not as good looking as the 3 coupe IMO, but its not bad looking. A good set of wheels really sets it off--matte gunmetal on the silver....mmmm. A bit overstyled if anything like most of the BMW line these days.

sounds like a nice car..... of the BMWs I have owned, my BMW round tail light 2002 was my favorite.... legendary car..light years away from what is offered now, though. almost crude in its simplicity

Ah well, I guess this is what you have to settle for when you can't have a 1994 Buick Century with 47,000 miles... nice consolation prize, though.

Oh, and if the Buick is ugly, this thing is too.

The 328 I'm driving now, I think this thing is bigger than an e39 5 series but what a ride! I tried to get a picture with the F355 spyder that parked next to me at work today but it was gone by the time I left the office
