Much like the financial wizard who, just before the stock market crash of '29, heard his shoe-shine boy discussing stocks, and immediately got out of the market, I wonder if this marks the extreme left swing of the pendulum before it begins its swing to the right.

Remember, the conservatives felt that Reagan had just begun the era of Conservatism, and the country took a lurch to the left.
Analysts (or maybe more correctly amateur analysts), tend to look at the current situation, and project that current trends will simply continue forever into the future. Then, some unforeseen event happens, and overnight the situation changes.
Are we at the end of the left swing of that pendulum, or will it continue to swing every more to the left?
