One of the big things going on then was the Depression. That means someone willing to buy from your Country is a good thing.

The other thing is that Hitler was Anti-Communist. And, back then those 2 items were extremely important.

If anything it was the Europeans that were responsible for stopping Hitler’s rise since they were the ones that were directly effected by that.

I believe the Country that really dropped the Ball was France; who was right next door.

The French had a bigger Army then the Germans and was reasonably well equipped but apparently extremely disorganized and did not make a reasonable effort to prepare for War and their Army fell apart during the invasion.

The fact is that Europe went into a Depression right after WWI and only the Attacker spent much Money on the Military.

WWI also inflicted a terrible psychological blow on any willingness of Nations that wanted Peace to get involved in other Wars.

So there is a lot more to the situation then you think.

If only the US participated in an Embargo one of the other Money Hungry Depression ridden Countries would have stepped in.

Then there was fear of another War like WWI.

Yes, sometimes war is the answer. Sometimes it isnt. All I can be sure of is that people 70 years ago had a much worse life, and much more apparent resolve than I've ever seen in myself or my peers.

I ask them to accept that their sons and daughters have the watch, and to rest in peace.
Actually normally it isn't. If you look at all of the things and efforts going on in the World what percentage is taken up by War?

And, it can only be imagined what they think about the Present Generation.

That is why you and I can waltz into our local auto parts store and purchase Mobile 1 and a whole slew of other synthetics......

Mercedes created the world's first automobile, German minds created Synthetic motor oil and there exists numerous firsts created by Germans and German companies. They turn out quite a few innovative products for such a small country.
All that and ended with another humiliating defeat by the Mongrel Nations.
I am more intelligent then a Dog but if I see a big Dog on the Street I don't run over to it and attack it.

The German Genius of the time did not allow for enough Introspection to see the possible effects of their actions.

That is what they said when US Troops arrived in WWI.

I'm trying to figure out how many races or ethnic groups present. Germans, French, Italians, Irish, English, Swiss, Finnish, Spanish of European descent; Mexicans and other nationalities from Central America, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese; as for native American tribes, we know there are many different tribes represented.

The melting pot.......
