I did that at one point in my much younger years. Once had the flame go into the can, so I tossed the can right away. All I can say is. BOOM!

Ah,,, reninds me of my piro days.... when i was a little kid i was playing around with a gallon nitromethane,, I soon found out how flammable the stuff was, actually explosive!! I went to the hospital for that one.
Be Careful, pressurised gasses in metal containers can be dangerous.

'Glowing Edges' effect in Paint Shop Pro - pretty neat huh?

It's not me holding the can.. I figured behind the camera was a safe place to be!

Cool, that effect looks so cool.

I have only heard of the flame going into the can, I dont know the physics behind it so I will not try to explain. Just make sure the match is far away from the can.

Thumbs down Well!

The flame could not "go into" as the can contains only the fuel and the flame requires oxygen to burn!

Thats not to say that the flame that close couldn't heat up and melt the plastic valve components causing a sudden release of the pressuruized contents to the atmoshpere containing a flame/ignition source! AKA: Big A#% Fuel Air Explosion!

Howdy All,
Then there are the bartenders that spit alcohol at a lighter I don't think any of them have eyebrows

Newer can designs maybe, but when I did it and the flame went into the can, it was quite a boom.I've had a lighter do the same thing before, and it too exploded...

One word to the wise. Never substitute Zippo lighter fuel with 92 octane, that is unless you want a flame 3 feet tall!!!
