New Corvette C8.

When running errands this morning saw the New Corvette C8 drive by, in bright yellow. I've never been much of a corvette guy, but I must say I'm really impressed by the looks of the car, they did a great job.

Wonder how hard it is to change spark plugs?

I like the way they look too and it is my understanding they are "sold out".

they last what, 100K now? I'd say if you are liking a vette you won't care about changing plugs. I imagine a vette with 100k on it is rare.

Of course I believe you. But as the saying goes here pictures or ...!
On my Sunday morning runs all heading west, saw three 68 and earlier Vettes, must be a show in the Valpo IN area. I wonder how much attention a C8 would get at that show.

The thing was to fast. As a car guy, one of the perks about living LA is you see all the new cars before pretty much the rest of the world. BMW and sometimes Mercedes drive their camouflaged test cars through my hood.

Another cool thing, this guy lives just down the block from me. His Ford GT would always be parked outside by his house. Now he has the new GT, still in the open...

Thumbs up New 'Vette

So Jorn ;

Would you want it slush box (for L.A.'s traffic) or stick shift (for out of town fun) ? .

Is there even a choice anymore ? .

I seem to see these in white more than any other color .

In So. Cal. one tends to see these and exotics as daily drivers, well pretty much daily .

Never experienced it myself but I understand the 'slush box" of modern days in cars like the C8 shifts faster than most drivers would be able to with a manual. Beside that, no manual for the C8 because of apparent structural concerns.

Thumbs up C8 'Vette

Thanx ! .

I agree, if you know how to operate them slush boxes shift just as fast if not faster than manuals .

I passed a Southbound white one on Kanan Dume Road this afternoon, top down, the driver looking well pleased .
