You are correct in your assumption that young children should not be allowed to access mediums such as TV and internet without parental guidance. I also see that the consensus is that the pictures are not appropriate to young children. Therefore the call for warning eh.

As for the appropriateness of such photos being on this web site which purveys autoparts for cars well NO is my view.

The CB was a good open medium once upon a time but slowly and later quickly slipped to the murky depths of a whole new level eh. Can you imagine the ability to find out what is happening a few miles in-front of you, but now I dare say it has become squalid.

I do not see the need for children to access pictures such as those posted on this site for proper development. Have you been to cedy world a site provided by the "mother ship" where kids of 5 and perhaps even less are building their cars etc on the internet. Yes my kids surf the internet generally in our presence. The connected computer is in the family room and the screen can be seen from the kitchen, breakfast nook and the whole family room.

Some of you are getting your jollies by sharing these 0value add pictures here and basically lowering the quality of content of this whole site... so be it.

Consensus rules eh. One of the moderators did say nudies big nono he also stated that the subject line of the post should warn that there are "risqué,crass etc" type pics in it. This way you won't be caught with the pics popping up in PUBLIC where they will reflect aptly on your reputation eh.

Sleazy bars, Brothels, Strip Joints, Adult Malls/Bookstores etc all have a place in our society.

No need for a CB. I'll tell you what is in front of you. It's either complete gridlock or if you're lucky enough to be moving it's bumper to bumper and doorhandle to doorhandle with tailgating SUV's weaving angrily in out of traffic.

This is your OPINION, and it is obviously one that not many others share. Look at how many views the thread has...Hmmm...Looks like the rest of us think it RAISES the quality of content of this site.

However, I have found D-L's posts intriquing. This is a valid debate, with merit to both sides. It is an instance of where we attempt to balance community needs and standards against the need to have personal freedoms. The classic problem of modern "western" culture.

I still fail to understand why each and every discussion like this has to boil down to personal attacks and insulting behaviour.

It boils down to choice, like many other things we have debated here. He can CHOOSE to not look at the thread, and to block his children from being able to look at it. Instead, he chooses to look, and then cry and whine and preach about it endlessly. He wants to force the morals of a minority (him) on the majority (us) of members here. I have no problem with his dislike of the pictures. I DO have a problem with him trying to prevent US from posting and/or viewing them.
