Actually, I kinda favor the idea of a trench filled with burning oil. All four of my vehicles will need an oil change soon, so that may be enough to get me started.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my neighbor also has an illegal septic system. If he turns me in for pollution, he's going down for that too.

I would put up a six foot chain link fence, filling the poles with concrete. Get the permits of course, and try to time the installation with the losers next extended trip away from home. This way everything is installed, set, and nearly impossible to remove before it gets back home.

Another example. Their dog chewed up a pair of expensive leather shoes beloging to my neighbor on the other side. The shoes were inside his garage, all the way at the back When he complained to my a*hole neighbor's a*hole wife, her response was "you have to keep your stuff put up. We live in the country and we're going to let our dog roam free."

These are the kind of people we live next to.
My answer to this is:

If your dog ends up on my property again, it will be shot - consider yourself warned!!

I also live in the country. I am still required to keep my animals contained.

Hehe... Unfortunately for his neighbour, that he hasn't dealt with the likes of me.

Before I moved into my current house, I had to do major repairs. I also had to put up a fence for my mutts. Being that I was now paying two mortgages, and had no money in the till for work like this, It necessitated me removing the fence from one place, and installing it at the new one.

Within 18 hours of the dogs being moved to the new house, animal control paid me a visit regarding my wolfdog. The "officer" did her level best to be the biggest possible ***** that it was capable of. All she was successful in was gettnig a written complaint inserted against her.

Another resident took exception to the then two vehicles parked in the BACK of my property (there are now five ). This guy complained that I wasn't supposed to have "junk" cars on my property, to which I called him to task regarding nosing around on my land as they were parked FAR away from the roadway, and the only way to see them was to go more or less looking for 'em. After he cornered himself over that issue, he's pretty much minded his own business in regards to me.

I am on great terms with the neighbours that I know around me. The others, I couldn't care less what they think, and with the joker that lives nex to Rick would quickly get the hint.

Red neck idiot

I would report it to the police, along with the comment about the fence. There were some comments out there about working it out, BS, get it on the record and take this jerk to small claims court for damages.

It concerns me that the dog wanders with no leash or control. I know that I usually store rat poison in my shoes that I leave around the yard. This could possibly cause the dog to get sick or even DIE if he were to get hold of them. Living in the country has a lot of dangers for a dog who is not controlled.

*G*

Of course you want to control any poison and not dispers it in a manner that does not conform with the local and federal laws. BUT as long as its on my property I KNOW that it is secure and in compliance with all local and federal laws.

Hmm

You own German cars, eh?

A German Solution to the problem:

Put up a nice little fence like this, go down to your local Army and Navy Surplus store, and by a nice 1980's era East German border guard uniform for around 30 dollars

(make sure to get the officers version with the nice hat) Then patrol your little fence at odd hours of the night, walking back and forth. He should be thoroughly freaked out!

Claymores, Tank mines, odd gentlemen wearing Stasi uniforms and carrying full-auto (legal with permits and everything, barring that, semi-auto) AK-47's and Makarov pistols. Make sure they can fake a good East German/Russian accent too, for when he is questioned. As long as he is on your property, you can walk around with any legally-owned object you want most anywhere. If I wanted to carry an M-60, it would be fine as long as the weapon is legally owned.

Barring that, buy a half-track or tank and park it on your lawn. Like to see him move that!
