Question This is only a test

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Thanx for your attention & please remain seated during the entire event.

Gbenzx has nothing todo with my owning an MB. I was simply nicknamed Gentle Ben during the time I operated trains in Ga & Al.

I've been reading here for several days as much as I could abt these machines & all I can say is AWESOME. How on earth can you guys comprehend all this. I didn't find this many NUMBERS in my military years & 46 countries.

I found the site via google when the need arose for an MB diesel in our Jeep Cherokee. Yes I believe it'll work & also thimk it could get upto 30mpg but have yet to locate the man or lady with the talent it wll test for the challenge.

Now what is a FourMatic?

Thanx, Gben

Thanx Guys,

I'm still readinnnnnggggg.

Where could one goto find specs of all older (pre 92) MB diesels?
Trying to sell 93 4x4 Suburban (or trade) & possibly goto something like 300D, SD or SDL. May look for a 350 tho just don't know nuff abt them yet to make good sense.

Did the AWD 4matic come with diesel engine?
Looks like whatever we wind up with I'll need to find an MB Mech close by to help with the fixing that comes with these machines.
See some nice looking ones on ebay & Auto Trader but don't thimk we'll buy into any of them without a trusty Mech doing an extensive exam.

Always wanted an MB just never could afford it since I never had anything & still have most of it left. But now at 65 I forgot where I put it!

Thnx Agn, Gben

Gben, try the 'Vintage' section of the forum, it's also worth using the search facility for particular models too. -J

Take a peek at the Diesel Discussion section. There should be a thread on the first or second page about the 350.

Thanx Guys,

Rick I did find the thread & very interesting.

Will do more search work as time permits & spend some time at the diesel section since that is our primary interest.

Still need specs tho for comparisons.

Regards, Gben
