I'd look for any chaffed or bare wires on the GP harness. I don't think a bad GP would cause it to blow...

plus gas engines are for HP....diesels are for torque.

I decided to measure the pump output at the return line that goes back to the fuel tank. I only got about 140ml/30 sec...this is the hose that comes from the filter on the way back to the tank.

I placed the fuel line coming from the filter, #625 in the schematic. I cranked the starter for 30 seconds and got 200cc fuel...i think is the same as 200ml.

but i didn't hold down the stop...

BTW, I would call the lift pump and shut off "bolt...
