I loosened up all the bolts on top and in the door. pulled off the trim at base of panel. bolts are rather rusty. i suppose i will have to work on them. any hints?

Alternator does not seem to be charging the battery. The idiot light does not come on, however.
Car has ~ 240k. What is likelyhood alternator is bad?

Help! Engine running hot! 85 300D

Just last week, engine started running at ~ 100C when heat is not on and at stop light. If stopped, turning heat on, temp comes down to ~ 85- 90. If cruising, temp stays ~ 85-90.
Any thoughts? ...
