OK I hear you about the DIY bit

but I owned a 1987 Saab 900t most of this time as well and I could DIY most of what went wrong with that car - which was a LOT less than what went wrong with my E320. Very few people on this forum...

he seems to have reused the old clamp for the cat side, so I am suppose he got the bolts out of the hole somehow. Charged me $8 for new nuts and bolts, but I'm not complaining!

Can't you use a Becker Bahamas and plug right in?

That's what I did in my 94 E320. I did not have to cut one wire. The plug went right into the back of the radio. The amp still works. I'm not sure what other models this works on.

If you have good coolant flow, then the radiator should be too hot to touch everywhere. When you replace the radiator, replace the hoses as well.
