Okay lets scare some new guys, these threads are always fun. Here are the rules, lets see who has spent the most on one of these cars. Has to be a single car, fleet care costs don't count.

Let me fire the first shot, 300SDL bought for a grand total of $2,900 three years ago.

About $11,349.47 in parts plus the purchase price is $14,249.47. Roughly, its probably more. Lets see I want to paint her this year and rebuild the trans. Cruise control is needing an amp, and a few more things require attention, still needs about $1k in repairs. Interior could use a bunch of new stuff. I can see doubling what I have into her before she is perfect.

Lets break the costs down by mile, 24924/$11349.47=.46 cents per mile. (beat that! )
$11349.47/36=$315.26 per month. Not quite enough to lease a 325I.

I know there is one person on this forum who has me beat with his super cherry 300D, anyone else?
