one rear pass. window not working
Yes, I did the search already !
the passenger side rear window is not working. tried the fuses, switches etc. and they seem to be all intact. i dont hear the motor at all when activating the switches, so my guess is that it is probably the regulator. however the regulator was replaced two years ago. do they have such short life spans ? what else can i check before opening up the door ? thnx.

I don't understand why you suspect the regulator if you can't hear the motor. It is the opposite, if you could hear the motor but window doesn't work, then I'd suspect the regulator is bad and motor good (but they are replaced as single unit in many models). You need to take off door panel and determine if motor is getting power. If not, it could be a wire broken inside the rubber accordian like conduit to the door.

good point about the wires. I'll try to provide power directly to the motor to see if it's operational , but in order to do that I would have to take the panel off. I guess taking the panel off can't be avoided.
thnx for the post.
