I have a real bad problem going right now. In changing out the glow plug in my 300d I managed to snap a tip clean off. I have the threaded portion and the rest is still lodged in the port. Apparently some serious carbon buildup was going on inside there. I can still see the tip through the injector port in place. Questions: Is the glow plug in a pre-chamber or right in the cylinder, can I push it in and leave it in the pre-chamber and install a new plug? The injector sit in some sort of sleeve that looks like it threads into the head, can this be removed? If so I might be able to get to the tip. any and all help would surely be appreciated. Thanks.
