AC Quick fix or long term?
4 Years ago my 83 380SEL got the r134 conversion done and a rebuild compressor put in.....it worked flawlessly until this year I noticed its much weaker and just now doesnt blow cold anymore but the system does engage and work. Looking at the hoses I beleive where they meet the compressor it has a SLOW leak.
At a local German Import parts store they are selling for MB and german cars a can of (for both r12/r134) refrigerant and leak seal (2cans). Im gonna go buy this tmrw and put it in the system but would like to get some opinions first. The car is for sale aswell and would like the AC blowing cold.
