A/C Question: 96E320

I recently had my A/C checked as it didn't seem to be cooling as I thought it should (I've owned the car for just over a year now and the odometer reads 68k). No refrigerant leaks were found and the refrigerant level was fine; the manual thermometer apparently indicated the outlet temperature was as it should have been.

Here along the NC coast it's been very hot and humid, of late (95F + 70%).

Today my son and I were agreed that the air from left vents is noticably less cool than the air from the right vents. (The right air is quite cool feeling; the left hardly cool at all). Lowering the temperature for the left side of the system (i.e. left vents) didn't seem to produce much of an impact, though it did cause the fan speed to increase.

Anyone have a similar observation and/or know of an adjustment or other solution?

Thanks,

R
