Thank you Larry and Adam for your responses.
Basically, I did as Larry suggested (although I manually wire brushed the bolts prior to application since I don't have a bench grinder w/brush). So it looks like I'm good to go....and I did use the blue locktite, not the red. Thanks again for the help, gents Bill
