update

Update: So last Friday I did some cleaning on the throttle body the second time. The first time was like 4 weeks ago and that eliminated the stalling for like 2 weeks but the idling was still a little rough. After the cleaning this time the stalling was gone again and rough idling persisted. In addition I poured a bottle of Seafoam into the gas tank with 1/3 full of gas. I ran it until empty. The idling was better but still rough. So I took it to the famous Mr. MB Motor and have the owner Enrique looked at it for me earlier today. He told me that the car was running too lean and adjusted for me. So far the rough idling is a lot better now and doesn't seem it is going to stall.

So far so good. As far as the fuel distributor I'll have to wait and see. Hopefully I don't need it (fingers crossed).

Rick
