OK, my 2.3 16v has been sitting since 2001. I wanted to be sure it ran before I take it all apart for paint, bodywork, interior and mechanical. It DID run(that's a laugh) when I parked it. I changed oil, flushed gunk(I mean fuel) tank, put a fuel pump and filter on and...wait for it...nothing. So I checked the flow from the pump, +/-.5 gallons per minute which is close to what the Bosch manuals suggest. I removed the dizzy and found it to be dry inside. The regulator seems to be getting fuel but maybe not sending it on to the dizzy. What steps should I take that I have somehow missed? The EHA is supposedly a issue on cars that have been sitting but rather than throw $200-$400 at it I'd much prefer to KNOW first. Thanks!
