I do not even want to think about engine mounts.

Not a problem on my Mercedes, but my Lexus (that I am giving to my mom) is in dire need of motor mounts.

It started off as a light vibration at certain RPMS when driving, now its vibrating moderately and is very annoying on a car that is supposed to be smooth as silk. But, its a 1991, nearly 220K miles and ready for a set, but the dealer wanted $660 (parts/labor). I have found the mounts as low as $90 each (which I think is still way too much) and I have a friend at work whose father is a Toyota-Lexus tech that will do it for me for $150 labor at his home garage, so thats not as bad, since he is also going to replace the transmission mount, which is fairly easy on these, but the engine mounts are a pain on the V8 Lexus.
