Exclamation braking question.....

when i brake i go clunk clunk clunk....i have replaced rotors and am looking at guide rods....will this fix the problem if my guide rod bushings are worn and are causing this? this is a 1987 420sel (a beautiful woman). this clunk i notice is only when i depress the brakes and come to a stop which is all the time...looks like the who front end is shaking and can feel it in the steering wheel and occurs from the time i depress the brake pedal
