'89 190e 2.6 Crank Angle Sensor

Could someone please tell me where the Crank Angle Sensor is located on a '89 190e 2.6 ....

At the rear of the engine behind the oil filter housing area.

Is that the object that seems to attached at the base of the oil filter? It has a one prong connector attached.

Probably....just to be sure, trace the other end to make sure it goes to the Ignition Control Module.

Thanks a million to both of you ...found and removed it.

It had a lot of oil on probe ... is that normal or reasonable ?

Oil pressure sender?

Make sure you haven't removed the oil pressure sender instead of the crank angle sensor.
