Hey everybody,
I have read so many different posts on this site and benzworld and think I might have figured out a way to get my harness remanufactured quickly and on the cheap. First high temp insulation-I found a place that rewires restaurant stoves and ovens, wire safe up to 850 degrees, they have all gauges of it, second, they will do all soldering to the connectors for very cheap. The connectors are suppose to be low cost from dealer so I may order all of those so the entire harness will be renewed then take my old harness over there next week and get a quote. If this works out we may all be able to tell the stealership to jump off.
