m103 valve stem seals replacement

Thanks gschira,today i decided to go for it and check all the valves.as you stated there were ex.seals on int. valves and vice-versa.I installed the seals as they are supposed to and she started and idled for a while.tomorrow i will go a test drive to see if she no longer blows smoke.Will let you know the outcome..

Curious...how hard was it to replace the seals? Also...would you / did you have external leaks from the old seals or was it just burning through oil?

Same thing.

If the valve seals are leaking, that means oil is going into the combustion chamber.
