I'm looking to buy a W202, and was looking at one this afternoon. Got lotsof good tips for what to look for reading through here.

When I opened the oil fill port on the camshaft cover, noticed 2 things. There are dents / chips in the cast portion of the camshaft (not on the lobes), has anyone ever seen this?

Also, there was an orange tint to the interior of the cam cover, like it was a little rusty. Not sure if you'll be able to see it in the picture. I had been informed the car was well cared for and had frequent oil changes, but this gave me some pause. For reference the car has 156k.

Thoughts?
