EPC has two lengths listed for a w115 220d (is this your model?). Part 1155420207 is 1140mm long and 1155420307 is 1210mm long. I have no idea why two lengths are listed. They cost about $100 US from a US MB dealer.
The cables for a 230.4 could be the same as for a 220d, or could be much longer. EPC lists the 1140mm one, as well as 1750mm and 1860mm for that model. So I guess it could be the same, or it could be quite different.

You could take the old one off and measure it.

Yh thing is I'm not too technically minded so taking it off would have to wait a month or so when the car is legally on the road |

The dealership could tell you by your VIN. If this site sells it they do a good job listing the vin split.
