But not to much grease .Or it can get in to the brake system.

Came across this video on wheel bearing replacement; notice how he reinstalls the castle nut and then uses the axle and hub as a slide hammer to remove the inner seal and bearing. I'm going to try the same idea on the 1991 560SEL.
