2003 Lincoln Town Car; transmission fluid leak

OK, had both engine mounts and the transmission mount replaced yesterday. The car accelerates more smoothly now.....

There is, however, a transmission fluid leak. I spoke with the technician who said he believes there is a rear main seal leak (where the engine connects to the transmission). I notice transmission fluid on the floor in the garage although I am not sure it is coming from the back of the engine.

I am thinking of putting the car up on jack stands, spraying the under carriage with Sam's Club degreaser then use my pressure washer (I have a 90 degree wand) to clean the grease off the under carriage.

Any other ideas to help find the source of the transmission fluid leak?

Catch the fluid on aluminum foil to identify it. Dye can be added to the fluid and then checked with UV light. You'll probably will be able to find it without the dye.

Pretty sure that rear main seal is a transmission out job, if it is an occasional slight drip it isn't urgent.
