I have done this- first get the clamps, disconnect the battery first- then wear old shirt you may have to toss- losen the clamp first- then clamp hose lines, buy new little clamps and make sure you have scissors or equivelent to clip frayed edges. a pair of cheap sunglasses or goggles will also help when it squirts fuel all over you. Put screw driver, scissors or anything in a can or something so you are not stranded without getting your tools in the event of major squirting...trust me on this one...and finally- when you are all finished, drive the car, then park it- go and look to see if there are leaks while running- I didn't do this, until someone told me I had a line of liquid I was leaving - silly but true. But on my SL I took it and paid to do it- too much hassle- plus gas burns until you wash it off!
