I have a 190E 2.3 16V, when I use the rear window defroster it works, but when I turn it off I always blow a fuse. I know I can leave the defroster on till it turns itself off and I have done this without any problems
any Ideas? Eddie 1986 2.3 16V Smoke Silver |

Based only on the wiring diagram and your symptoms I would have to vote for a bad combination relay. All the switch position wires (on and off) go to the relay. The off side of the relay must be shorted.
