Lately my 240D has been running better than ever, and frankly I'm scared
 . The acceleration is GREAT! Even up-hill  Now I have been noticing a sputtering sound like a hole in the exhaust coming from the passenger floorboard. Almost like a hole in the floorboard is over a hole in the exhaust. The sound increases in volume when going uphill and between 20-50MPH. Beyond 50 mph or on level ground, the sound is not as audible. I recently had a new exhaust put on the car, and it is still solid. There are no holes in the floorboard Does anyone have an idea on the origin of this sound? Could it be a leaking manifold?
