This reminds me of 60's era CJ5 Jeeps -- my buddy's radiator crapped out, and the original style radiators are available, but cost 550 bucks. An all metal radiator from a straight 6 mustang nearly bolts up and is $100, and has a much higher cooling capacity.

Pretty soon we may all be getting creative as these cars age. I looked on that site for an all aluminum radiator for my '87 300D and it's not available. I was thinking of getting one to have on hand.
