There are a lot of codes stored in the system that are not revealed with a standard OBDII reader. When I took my ML in for the adaptations after replacing my oil cooler, swirl flap motor, new MAFs and air filters, there was about 10 printed out pages of codes.
They charged me 1 hour of shop labor which is in the $150 range. Out the door about $180 with all the taxes, fees, etc.

Would the Icarsoft MBII be able to erase the stored codes? I have a friend with an '07 E320 Bluetec and I service it. I am sure one day I will be asked to replace the oil cooler seals and other parts, so I would like to be prepared. I know they all have the same problems eventually.
