Fuse keeps blowing on DC converter for MP3 player
I have a portable MP3 player that I am playing in my wifes 95 C220. When I plug in the DC converter into the cigarette lighter, it will blow the fuse on
the converter, or maybe after a fews minutes. I can use the converter on my dodge neon with no problems and my friends camaro. The fuse also blows on my parents 99 ML320. The fuse size is a 250 volt 3/4 amp, fast burn fuse. Can I use a higher amp, a 1 or 2 amp slow burn fuse? Does MB have more juice running thru their cigarette lighters? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

I ended up putting a 1 amp slow-burning fuse in the converter and it worked fine on both MB's without blowing the fuse.
