Hi Adam,

I sent you a PM, let me know if you didn't receive that. I tried sending an email to Peter (the guy selling the tools) but haven't received a reply, I don't know if he has anything left. I have one extra set for sale, if anyone is interested, send me an email.

I think these are all long gone unless someone wants to sell theirs. For the late inclined/oblique OM60x prechambers you need the splined lock ring removal tool (NOT the pin wrench!), threaded adapter, and slide hammer:

For the splined lock ring tool, just buy the OE/dealer tool, p/n 604-589-01-09-00, currently $30 from XXXX (click here). Don't waste your money on the aftermarket splined tool, it actually costs more, and will be Chinese junk instead of Stahwille quality.

For the theaded adapter & slide hammer, you can buy the OE/dealer tool p/n 602-589-00-33-00 for $204 plus S&H (click here).

The aftermarket threaded adapter is available cheap, under $50 shipped from ZDMak tools on eBay (click here). Use with your own slide hammer, or buy their "kit" with ElCheapo™ slide hammer for about $80 shipped. I'm pretty sure you can get a better slide hammer for the same $30, or get an equivalent one for less.

Actually for the Prechamber Puller you do not need to buy the complete set with the Slide hammer. I am sure Our Sponser sells the Prechamber Puller similar to the one pictured below.
You can supply your own Slide Hammer or fined an adapter to fit the Free rental Autozone Slide Hammer.

Depending on who made them the double end prechamber puller can have 5/8 something threads, 12mm something threads or as below the 1/2 inch something threads (this is a ZDMAK tool listed below and pictured).

EXTRACTOR ADAPTER PRE-COMBUSTION CHAMBER TOOL For use with normal 1/2 inch threaded slide hammer to remove pre-combustion chamber on models 1967 thru 1999. Adapter ends have both course & fine threads.

Applicable: 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 615, 616 & 617
Ref: MB Tool Number 902-589-0033-02

The older part number for the above tool is- 602 589 00 33 02

Check this out... Peter Czyl just sold a few of the pin wrench tools on eBay!! There are six left - grab 'em quick:
Mercedes Benz Pre Combustion Chamber Ring Removal Tool | eBay
NOTE: These are for removing the lock rings from engines with vertical prechambers only.

Contact him through eBay and ask if he has any of the extraction tools (slide hammer plus threaded adapters). His eBay user ID is "peterechill":

Yeah, it's a bummer shipping is that much, but the tool is still worth every penny of $80 including shipping.

Rant: I don't understand why eBay sellers don't offer free shipping, especially for items that will ship at the same flat rate nationwide in the USA via Priority Mail. eBay now charges sellers fees on shipping so it doesn't matter if the tool is $40 with $40 shipping, or $80 with free shipping, the eBay fees are identical. But it ticks people off when they see high shipping. End of rant.

Much Obliged - as a matter of fact.. counted among my current tools is a very nice slide hammer that I use almost exclusively for pulling full circle seals so all that remains is to get the adapter and "make" it work
