Anybody need parts? stripping an 83-300SD

I’m stripping a 1983 300 SD bought from a friend. I am taking some things for my own ’84 300SD either to use or as spares (headlights, alternator, windshield wiper motor, fuel pump, vacuum pump) and will sell the rest of the car, including the following:

• Climate control module (have two, working one and a spare)
• Radio (Becker, newer than original)
• Speakers
• Wood fascia
• Trim & interior
• Seats- still solid structurally, and the driver’s seat has the optional inflatable lumbar support, but the leather is pretty beat
• Engine – 5 cylinder turbo diesel, 207k+miles
• Transmission- same mileage, seems to shift well
• Window motors
• Switch panels from dash
• Spare (original) headlights
• Blower fan
• Condenser
• Radiator
• Power steering pump
• Four wheels (I keep the best four)

Engine seemed tight and strong, transmission shifted fine and had no slippage. I drove it about 90 miles from his house to mine with no ill effects. The body has some rust, but if you want the whole car minus the parts I want, make an offer. Basically, asided from what I want it's all for sale. All parts (or the complete car) will be sold as is, no warranty implied, but if I know there's a problem I will tell you.

I’m going to e-bay any remaining parts after Sunday Dec 5 in a one week auction If you want anything beforehand, e-mail me with an offer. I’ll take cash, certified check, Paypal, or a personal check if you don’t mind waiting until it clears. Shipping will be at the buyer’s expense. You can pick up parts if you want- the car is in Salem, NH.

You can see some photos of the car (still in one piece) at:

Blaupunkt, not a becker

I looked closer at my photos and it appears to be a Blaupunkt Lexington Combo. Looks like it's an AM-FM and casette unit. I haven't tried it, but the friend I bought it from says it works fine. I can send you a photo if you want. Send your e-mail address to me at rdsw@mac.com and I'll send you the photo.

Seat switches?

How are the seat switches? Are they functional and not broken? I don't need the knobs just the switches for both sides. Also I can take them with or without memory. Let me know.

Switches work fine

But the knobs are missing. $20 each plus shipping for the switches if you want them- e-mail me at rdsw@mac.com, and let me know.

How much would you want for the rocker panel from the passenger rear door, and the small rocker piece behind that door? I am interested in these pieces....what color are they on this car? (I could paint them I guess) But I am interested.......mine are damaged from an accident....if I pull my dent back out and put new panel pieces on it should be good as new....

I just saw the pictures, that car is identical to mine!!! Is there anything left? I'd be interested in the whole rear passenger door.....and the small rocker trim piece behind the door........wow....I could totally fix my car with that. I wish I had seen this sooner....anything available still??? Rocker panels.....door.....any of those items???

wood center console around shifter

Is the wood around the shifter any good? 1982 light blue 300sd. Also I need some interrior parts - specifically navy blue drivers sun visor with lighted vanity mirror and the plastic cargo net frame on the back of the passenger seat or drivers seat or both if good.
