A/C Compressor Wiring .... 82 300SD
When checking the ACC unit tracing why the compressor was not engaging found the wires to the compressor disconnected. I need you help in connecting to the compressor, ( 2 wires - one blue/green and the other brown(ground). Looking at the compressor I see an upper & lower coneectors, does the (blue/green) go to the upper and brown to the lower or vice versa.

I could be wrong....
That should just be going to an elctromagnetic clutch.. if there is not difference in distance to the connectors which corresponds to a longer and shorter one... it may not make any difference which is hooked to which.. try it one way ( random ) and see if it works... if it really made a difference they would usually have different connectors which could not be hooked up wrong...
At worst it will probably work one direction and not the other.... |
