My 1982 300SD Driven nearly daily, 20 mile round trip to work, and soon daily (or more than once a day) 9 mile round trip to school. Have taken it on many trips this summer, one to DC: 1700ish miles total, One to Oshkosh, WI, total of around 1300 miles, to the diesel meetup in Troy, 310ish miles, and several other trips that were around 200-250 each. Has never let me down.

Well my oldest daily driver is a 98 CTD, but up until a couple months ago it was my 83 300D as I don't daily drive it anymore.

My 83 has been taking me 300-400 miles a week for the past month that I've had a license with not a single glitch.

85 300d

My war wagon is our daily driver. With the wife in colledge and our son's after school stuff. The 300 makes two trips a day to town and back quite often. That is 46mi each trip. We put 45,000+ on it last year. It gets driven all year. With studded snow tires, it goes through the snow like a sled. I pull my race sleds in the winter with it. About a 360mi trip, at least every other weekend. I have to Oh + Mi with it. She's been to DC so many times she knows the way. My inlaws live there. Best $750 I ever spent.
