Thanks, Will do!
But I now find I need to order the seal for the turbo line befor I go back to this project. I found the bracket broken and that line has to come off to replace the bracket. Isn't that the way these 123 projects always go?

a u-joint & 6 inch ratchet extension, or just a 6 inch extension & use care to not strip the bolt. i must admit that thing is tricky.

just did it
It helps to have a shivel socket ---- breaker socket. That's what I used. I'm glad the mechanic had one I could borrow --- never would have gotten it off without it.

Ok I'll give the swivel socket a try. Also do you guys locktight the screws that hold the rubber shock mounts?

I found that a swivel extension worked a little easier than anything else I tried. Also, I used locktite on the threads. Don't forget the o-rings on the bottom of the housing, for the cyclonic oil separator. They help to "anchor" the other side of the housing to keep it from flopping around.
The most important thing that helped my air cleaner housing bracket was a valve adjustment. In fact, I followed up the initial valve adjustment with another one 200 miles later and it really smoothed things out.
