I like the idea and applaud the engineering,BUT this is approaching one of the major reasons I "Do"Diesel
AND avoid Petrol.

I believe these piezo pulse sensors clamped on an injector line is a crystal microphone. An old crystal phono cartridge may do the job. Anyone have an old turntable laying around?
