New Injector vs. New Nozzle

I have a few extra bucks that I would like to put into the 81 300D that I recently bought. I didn't earn this money but the insurance company of the fellow that wrecked my beautiful 84 300D is going to give it to me so I don't go screaming to a lawyer. Since I am essentially getting "free" money I feel okay about doing some stuff mechanically to this car in an effort to get it in as good a shape as possible. One of the things I'm thinking about is new injector nozzles. I don't know why, I just feel like starting new would be nice. But before I blow this money, I thought I'd get some feedback. If I don't have any immediate reason to suspect misfires etc. is this a decent way to spend some money?? There is considerable surface rust on the injector's themselves as the car sat for a while before I purchased. Should this rust be a concern? Should I just do a good old fashioned diesel purge?

As an aside, other things I plan on doing include:

5 new glow plugs (i KNOW these are very much needed)
Valve adjustment
New monovalve (getting cold here in Maine)
New rear quarter panels (totally rusted out)
New brake pads (could use them)
Already put in new fuel filters & oil change (waiting for turbo sized air filter, since I've had two non turbo sized ordered from the store)
Probably going to replace fuel return lines
Transmission fluid flush
Coolant flush (replace with mercedes stuff)
New battery (I have the most rinky dink battery I've ever seen in there now)
Already cleaned out banjo bolts.

Any input would be most welcome. I miss my old Benz so much. As an aside on the topic of turbo spooling, I most definately could hear the turbo spool in my old car. Every time I hit a certain RPM. Turbo in this car not really working, going to clean out banjo bolt on the ALDA itself too. Thanks for input.
