For everyday, Id order a Cactus green 200D (euro) 4 speed, with palomino cloth interior, no power anything or A/c, rear headrests, hitch & manual antenna.

A garage queen, Id take a 300D (euro) 5-speed, Decked out with dark green on olive velor, headlamp washers, 2 tone horn, power everything, hitch, 15" bundts and a/c

I am going this route now, no pentas but I am really liking the ACT's that I picked up. 2" MPL gives it a deep dish look almost. My car is grey and I am leaving the chrome chrome for now but grill is def going black (chrome included). Finding the AMG body kit is pricey.........

Silver 1985 300TD with Euro Bumpers, AMG front spoiler, the early flat five spoke monobloc AMG wheels 16x7 front and 16x8 rear with some Michelin Pilots, intercooler, heated seats, later Becker stereo with a CD changer, third seat, trailer hitch, red leather interior, no rub strips on the roof, only the racks, and a five speed.

There is nothing like dreaming. Now I have a W124 wagon I want to modify. It is so timeless looking that it looks just as good today as it did when it was new. I also think the OM603 is a better engine for modifying.

Since I could order it anyway I wanted: Black TD, black leather w/3rd row seat, 15" Bundts (black caps are close behind), Euro front bumper, Euro spec round lights w/wipers and amber fogs, US rear bumper (would be putting a trailer hitch on it and just would like a little extra protection back there), rear fog light, manual AC and manual sunroof.

Oh, to dream

Might have to build me one some day.

My favorite amg option is still the champagne chiller and fold down tables in the rear.

Ditto, But in a CE coupe, and definately five speed, and the largest, most powerful V-8 available, with Full power everything, and all both Mercedes, and AMG, and oh, what the heck, Renntech, had to offer for the car. I want everyones performance mods, on an AMG EURO COUPE. Going to be building just that, out of my 82 280CE Euro, I need parts though. I want the wheels...I love those 5 star wheels..The air dam, all of it..WOW!!!

That's it, Right there...The car I had pictured exactly...Who's is that, and how much is it..? With few exceptions I'd take that and run..That's a hot little number. I have that same pic, somewhere in my saved pics, and could not find it. That's what my 82 280 CE EURO, is going to look like when I'm done with it. I might have a paint color change, or something, but that's it....!!!

I like how the grill is paint matched... If I had a car exactly like POS's I would paint match the grill, dis assemble the euros and paint the plastic black... as well as the wheels.. Recently I saw a 745iL that had a matte dark grey paint job.. as well as the windows and wheels.but the wheels would have a machined lip so it was shiny. it loooked sooo sweet... very military-ish with the matte paint

I'm not into the Matte paint on newer cars. Its cool on old hot-rods, but on a modern car it is out of place. New cars are meant to shine, not be dull.
