Thinking of buying a 1974 240D automatic. Wondering if this is a good model, what pitfalls to look out for before i decide, and how that engine is for unheated WVO.

300D that i have runs great on WVO, but only gets about 25 MPG. What should be expected of a 240D?

Any and all opinions appreciated.
