Talking New episode of Top Gear, W123 driven across Africa!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9KxU6lRm_U

Its an hour long, so sit back and enjoy. The W123 and VW Beetle totally PWN the other's.

Not to mention its a funny show! When they get water in their cars and need to drain it they shoot the floors!

Youtube is a PITA, usualy people repost.

Everytime a new episode of Bleach comes out Youtube goes nuts and yanks it down, but for every one they yank down 10 get posted. After a few hours they say F it and give up.

That's true, though usually on these forums the Webmasters have some qualms about posting illegal material

Illegal material? It's free to view on public TV, it should be free to view on anyones computer. But, that's an OD topic.

Watched the whole thing and it is absolutely amazing, what these cars put up with! Don't know what it proved though?

Just finished watching it all. Wow. I was impressed by the opel and the MB (and the beetle, but thats a given). That W123 took a REAL beating and kept going. Like he mentioned at the end, it needed not much more than a sparkplug on the whole trip.

I bet with Rally tires and a locked rear diff, it'd have done it with little to no modification.

No it isn't. In the UK, where these programmes are made and broadcast, we pay a licence fee to receive them. You don't.

IMO oliver opel did better overcoming the terrain then the merc. Other then the opel's faulty brakes it didnt shed any of its body work like the merc and lancia had to do to prevent from sinking. But mechanically the MB and VW won.

And why did they shoot a hole in the floorboard of the W123 there should be floor drains already built in

i love top gear
