Not quite junk yard, but when I purchased a none running w210 recently, the trunk was full of old electronics junk, including an original Xbox, car amplifier, household telephone and some CCTV equipment.
The guy said that he forgot it was all in there, and that he meant to take it to the dump. Anyway, i've sold most of the stuff on ebay so far, and have made enough money to cover over half of the purchase price of the car!

found a Maglite the 3 D cell one. missing the lense and the reflector. but for $15 off the internet i rebuilt it and now it has an LED bulb.
Also found my euro headlights, $60 out the door.

PNP in Grand Rapids, MI (U-Wrench-It) circa 1990, I found an 18 gauge Kresge shotgun under the back seat of a Toyota MK II Supra. I had already ganked a Wolfsburg edition steering wheel from a Scirocco, so I paid for that with the shotgun down my pants. Very awkward walking out.
Still have the shotgun (who knew Kresge made guns) and the steering wheel...

My best find is a 300D manual transmission drive shaft. While i was pulling it, My brother found 325 bucks laying in the dirt. we split it, and i bought the manual transmission too.

I've only found a few tools, but a buddy of mine found a WWII German officers dress dagger and sheath under the seat of an old Land Rover he bought. I was green with envy!
