I saw some other threads here when I searched regarding manuals, I'm actually trying to get a W126* (edit: thanks PaulC for clarifying) repair manual of some sort for my vehicle on short notice, as I have a friend coming tomorrow to help me work on it.

I noticed that some members might have a manual or two stored in digital format and was wondering if anyone would be willing to send one over to me? Or at least point me to a torrent file or usenet location.

I plan on buying a hard copy either way, and was also wondering what is a good manual to get. Some people say Chilton is no good and Haynes is acceptable, others won't use anything other than MB manuals. I don't want to invest too much money at this stage because I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep the car depending on exactly how much work it needs done to it (will find out tomorrow!)

Anyway, any help/info appreciated.
